Qualified electronic signatures for your reports
WEDO allows you to digitally sign all your meeting minutes with legal validity - SES, AES and QES – even if the handwritten signature is required.
Advantages
Forget endless trips to the printer and postal marathons. Sign your reports legally in just a few clicks!
A complete signing process is done within minutes, not days.
You can sign using your smartphone or computer, whether you're in the office, at home or on the move.
An e-signature costs 3.50$ instead of the minimum 9$ for registered mail, including paper and printing costs.
Compliant with EU and Swiss Legal Regulations
The legitimacy of electronic signatures within the European Union is established by the 'EU Regulation on Electronic Identification and Trust Services for Electronic Transactions in the Internal Market' (commonly known as the eIDAS regulation). In Switzerland, this is paralleled by the Federal Act on Electronic Signatures (ESigA).
Legally Recognized for documents
WEDO offers the three official standards of e-signatures as defined by EU and Swiss Laws: simple (SES), advanced (AES), and qualified electronic signatures (QES). The QES has the same legal validity as a handwritten signature.
No further integration is needed
WEDO assembles all necessary elements for a legally compliant e-signature, eliminating the need for contracts with external providers or any extra services.
The tree types of electronic signatures in WEDO
Legislation differentiates between three types of electronic signatures. Each type varies in its application scope and legal validity.
How it works
WEDO brings together all the elements needed to create legally compliant SES, AES and QES electronic signatures. However, the QES signature requires prior registration with a trust service provider. This registration will enable you to use the QES signature on all platforms.
No trust service provider account required. The signature is created directly in the WEDO plateforme.
An account with a trust service provider is required, but can be created directly via the WEDO platform.
For optimum security, the QES signature requires prior registration with a trust service provider. This account must be created with our trust service provider, Swisscom.
Trust Service Provider
The Swisscom Signing Service is a signature and seal service that covers both legal areas, EU/EEA and Switzerland. As an accredited trust service, the Signing Service fulfills the legal requirements of the EU regulation eIDAS and the Swiss federal law ZertES. In addition, the Signing Service adheres to the current standards issued by the European Telecommunications Institute (ETSI).
